march 2 postscript: melissa
since this is a ps, I figure I can streamline this not-quite entry. so no images, no hyperlinks, only a cute midi called clouds, and my text. my new standard for a post script...an addition to my march 2 entry. I am way into looking at the classical midi pages and getting living composers classical forays. In many ways they combine the modern simplicity for to tune with the elaborate sensibilities of the masters. In many ways, modern classical music (an oxymoron?) is influenced by jazz, competitive themes, and simple composing. Most people's knowledge of modern classical music comes from movie themes, and the mood music that molds our movie going experience. I often wish that books could come with theme music...as an author, the choice of a book soundtrack would complete the universe creating desire. I wonder why publisher's don't do it know, considering how cheap a cd is to produce? ah well, I sure someone has thought of it already. this postscript is really a nothing addition, but it is nice to write with the luxury of knowing it doesn't matter if my internet connection goes out. because I am all caught up, despite the evil force of internet breakdom, and not (internally) pressured to put an entry up.
i went to souper salad today with my mom, and we discussed how I am going to write my story on Edward Winslow. should be interesting...
movies I want to see soon: who wants to marry an alien? (the garry shandling movie), the next best husband, (madonna and kid), if these wall could talk again, (anne heche directing her girlfriend), and I am sure many videos I have not caught up on.
obviously I am not taking 3 classes right now. on sat. is my first class of the shakespeare course...that should be lots of fun.
okay, I think this was a good ps...see ya til the next entry...
