This is the text of my journal entry:: I have been replying to a lot of emails lately. Because of this, I decided to make this entry a mini-FAQ, where I answer some common questions I get over email, messenger or ICQ. My name is Melissa Miles I was born in Houston, TX in 1975. My family moved to CA when I was 11. I lived there until 1998, when I moved back to Houston. I went to Scripps College 1993, after I had finished my junior year. My favorite author is Madeline L'Engle. I have Objectivist/Libertarian leaning (no, I am not a randroid as I also like Aristotle, Camus, Sartre, Marx, Derrida, Foucault) I majored in Philosophy and graduated in 1996 from Scripps. Scripps was a women's college, but I took many of my classes at Harvey Mudd. I am manic depressive. I am on lithium. Yes, I have to take it for the rest of my life. Lithium is a mood stabilizer. I like to watch tv: ER, NYPD, Friends, Ally MacBeal My favorite movies are Trust, and the Matrix I am 5'7" I am currently attending Houston Baptist University. I am in the next of last class of my Masters of Liberal Arts Program. I am going to Europe this summer for 3 weeks, as part of a class I am taking for my masters degree I have three cats, and one dog I once had 3 cats, 3 wolf-dogs, and 3 bunnies (at one time) I have short hair. I used to have waist length hair. I am growing my hair out. My eyes are hazel.

this is the conclusion:: I hope this is enough info for now. Anyway, today I went to see Boiler Room, and it was a great movie. I understood the stock lingo because of my doing the Yahoo Investment Challenge. I just learned about IPOs today, so it was cool seeing them in action in this movie. Also, tonight I watched Wonderland, which does to psychiatric hospitals what ER did for emergency rooms. I was very impressed--it almost felt like a movie, so much was in it. I actually almost cried at one point. This weekend, my mother's cousin is visiting, so I might be busy then. Anyway, I will write more. I have to do my assignments for my Writing your Memoirs class, and so I will put up the results. So I will see ya later, Melissa
