Hiatus

sort of journal entry of melissa....
just like the x-files, I guess I am going to be in re-runs for
the rest of the summer. unlike the x-files, I am not pregnant or
abducted. just on vacation imposed by all the things I have to
do. my impending move to Arlington leaves me with very few
moments to savor Houston, or do my errands in the hot muggy air
with quick dips in the pool for relief. this isn't the result of
contemplation or qualms that others have relied on. I leave that
for another time. just pragmatism and laziness: perhaps induced
by the heat or encouraged by my trip to Europe.
