welcome to journal entry january 30. in
the background you can hear "ghetto superstar"
by pras. I don't why I felt like featuring this song
today, but it caught my fancy. Also, the background is a
dancing hamster. This also just randomly caught my fancy.
However, the image and music combination seems very funny
to me. Perhaps this is because I just finished my last
mid-term, and I am quite braindead. I went to sleep last
night at 6pm, and didn't wake up until 6am today.
Yesterday
I had a good online chat with my sister Lindy. Lindy is
in Austin going to UT, while I am here in Houston. We
chat a lot on yahoo messenger, and icq, but we decided to use
our webcams also. Lindy also made me do some funny
things, which my webcam broadcast yesterday very
interesting and fun to watch.
today is a lazy day for me, and I am not
going to watch Houston (TN) play L.A. (St. Louis) today
in the Superbowl. This week hasn't been a good one for
new episodes of the shows I
like to watch. So I didn't get to see a new X-Files. The
Practise was on tonight, and it was a new episode, so
that was good. However, I almost just watch it for Dylan
McDermott. I also watched The Man Who Knew Too Much on AMC. It
is the hitchcock movie with Doris Day and Jimmie Stewart.
It is bizarre and very tensioned filled, and it isn't the
type of movie I would expect either of them in. Doris Day
was clingly and hysterical in it, and she kept arguing
with her husband irrationally and then suddenly giving
in. It also has in it Que Sera, Que Sera, the song that
was made famous for my generation in Heathers. I think
because of the context it has in that movie I always
thought Que Sera, Que Sera was supposed to a romantic
song. However, hitchcock makes it really eerie sounding.
Btw, you can see my Don Quixote midterm, which got an A (A+
on the first essay) and my King
Arthur midterm, which has not been graded yet.
well, I am tired (it is past my bed time
now :)
write me!
