welcome to my journal entry for january 27. In the background you can see my favorite painting of all time. It is called Lake No. 1 and it was painted by Georgia O'Keefe.

Yesterday my father got a painting framed that I did a few years ago. It is called "Moonscape." I used pastels on a grey cardboard to create this image of two nude woman lounging on the moon's horizon.

I went to my Don Quixote class earlier, and Iam very proud to announce that I got an A on my midterm exam. In fact, I got an A+ on one of the essays. On the right you can see the Picasso image of Don Quixote that I used on the cover of my exam.

Also, I got my tarot cards read today. In college I had a roomate who before any big event in her life, would read her tarot. She also read mine frequently, but since college, I have not had it read. I keep getting the Queen of Swords for some reason--however, this makes sense because it is also the card I would use to describe myself.

The bad news is that I have been feeling sick all day. I am still coughing lots, and now I have an upset stomach. As such, this happens to be short entry. Tomorrow I have to give a talk on Peter the Great for my Western Civ class, so I have to prepare for that now.

see ya,
