welcome to my journal entry for january 26. today was a fairly boring day for me because my sleep schedule was all off. I woke up at 7 am,
took a nap at 1pm, woke up around midnight, and now I am getting sleepy again. so it is hard to be
very interesting. as such, this entry is going to be a little different. it is going to focus on the sites I think everyone should bookmark.

First of all, I think everyone should go to this site: 21 January 2000 Total eclipse of the Moon because it represents an interesting part of recent history, and it has cool images everyone can love. Sky and Telescope -- Lunar Eclipse of January 2000 also has some neat images of the lunar eclipse, such as those I put in a previous entry.

Also, you should go read the Being John Malkovich script. It is very different from the movie, however it gives you a good sense of the intent of the screenwriter, and how movies change when they are actually produced. In my opinion, the movie is much better than the original script, however, it is interesting to think that this script attracted the various actors and funding, and not the final product that I loved and enjoyed.
Also, whenever I want to read a script, no matter how obscure it is, Drew's Script-O-Rama has it. This is a great resource for aspiring screenwriters, and writers in general. Plus reading scripts is just a fun hobby, regardless.

Ducal Decor is a place selling an interesting product I am considering getting: Peel on/off window decals. You really have to see the site to understand what I am talking about.

Remember the matrix background I had on a previous entry? Well, here is the site that I got it from. It also has other wallpapers you can use. The Matrix wallpaper from YourWallpaper.com

There are a lot of people named Melissa who are on the web, so I have a small collection of sites that are interesting to people with that name. Lissa's Quotes :) has quotes from famous people. It is very comprehensive, and it is written by someone with my name. Melissa's HomePage is by a fellow "queen bee." Go check it out. Now this The Offical Melissa is Great Home Page is essential for anybody who is named Melissa or knows someone with that name. It is a great celebration of Melissaness. Finallly there is the Web Pages of People Named Melissa site which has a large listing of Melissa web pages. Very interesting and useful.

And finally, finally, there is Yahoo! Millennium which, for other people with the same 2000 obsession as I have, is a great resourse. I used a lot of the pages on this site to make my 2000 time capsule.

In the background, you can see a map of Houston, which is the city where I live. If you look closely, you can see the exact area where my home is.

Hopefully my life will be more interesting tomorrow. In the meantime, byeeeee.
