 What is the Matrix? in the background you can see the object of my newest obsession: the matrix. if you have not seen this movie, kick yourself and then go see it. I might even write an essay for class on the movie, which I will promptly place in my writings section. (another movie that I am obsessed with is Being John Malkovich, which I saw recently.) This journal came into existence because of the influence of two webcam girls I know: Kari and Hanah. The use of images and the captivating intimacy of their writing entries intrigued me. The profound, the mundane, the personal, the political and the purely trivial are all explored in very different ways on these two sites. Hopefully, on my own site I can bring an even different and just as interesting perspective and style to journalling on the web. comet looking so cute
...mooning away today there was a lunar eclipse, and I went outside to see it after class. It looked so eerie--like the death star or an image of mars. so I grabbed my camara from New Year's Eve (it has cute Y2K messages transposed on every pic) and snapped away. I also used my dad's video camara to take some digital video of it, zooming in and out and everything. I wanted to take some pics with my digital camera, but I had no charged batteries avaliable, so I couldn't. But I went online and found on yahoo.com some sites with webcams of the lunar eclipse, so I now you can have some sense of how neat it was.
make-up is hard to do on a totally different subject, I have been playing around with this makeover program I got with my digital camara, and below you can see a sample, with before and after pictures, of one of my makeover attempts. Before/After
