welcome to journal entry february 3. as you can see in the background, I found an image for the movie I have been looking for:Trust. It stars Adrienne Shelley as a teenager who gets pregnant by her jock boyfriend. He abandons her, and she ends up depending on this rebellious and depressed guy. You can see a film clip of the best scene in the whole movie if you go here. It is the scene where after the concept (and title) of trust is discussed, it ends up being tested. Anyway, in the background is the Wizards & Warriors music from the dying sequence. As I wrote in my journal yesterday, this music reminds me of the theme from Trust. However, I found today that the theme is on the internet, which you can listen to here. You can then judge for yourself whether or not Trust's music is akin to a nintendo game's music. Or you could just play the game instead.

My sister informed me that *she* had the old W &W game I was talking about. I didn't give it to my old boyfriend--I just left it at home when I went to college. And she is going to bring me home the game when she visits for my birthday. A few years ago when I did the search on the internet for all this, I found nothing. So maybe the internet has gotten better in some ways. I wonder if I am the only person who gets something, a song or whatever, stuck in their head, and they just have to figure out where you can find it. It becomes a quest, of sorts. (Maybe that is the Don Quixote influence)

Guess what! Today I got my midterm back for my Western Civ course, and I got an A! I am trying really hard to get all As this quarter. I am taking more classes than usual, so it has been harder and more work for me also.

Well, it is late now. I realize this has not been a real thought-provoking journal entry. However, I do have some thoughts I want to share, probably in this weekend's journal.

goodbye for now,
