Journal Entry Feb. 23-24 |
welcome to journal entry february 23-24.
As you can see, I have a guest journaler (is that the
right word?). In the background you can hear Santeria by
Sublime. My sister, Lindy, is here, and she picked the
music. She pointed out that the guy in one of my favorite
movie's Trust was also in the Opposite of Sex. He played
a much different character in that flick. Soon, Lindy and
I are going to watch Trust, which she
got me for my birthday, and also ER, which she has newly
become addicted to.earlier we did the tarot on her.
She says she has a bad future from this, but I think it
is more complicated than this. We did a number of
spreads, including Past/Present/Future, Yeah! My birthday is getting close. I am excited about writing my journal entries for this birthday weekend, and will be using a lot of birthday imagery for it. I am also going to take my camera around, and capturing my experiences during this weekend, and during my visit with my sister. Good newss, I got an a+ on my Don Quixote paper and an A on my paper for Western Civilization. Also, I turned in my dq and king arthur finals yesterday, and finished my final today in class for Western Civ. You can see the King Arthur final if you go here.
Tomorrow night we am going to see Hanging Up, despite all of the bad reviews. On Saturday we are going to Fantasia. Also, I might go iceskating on Saturday morning with my friends. Saturday night is my birthday celebration dinner. So, this will be a busy and exciting weekend. That means I won't be writing as much as usual. However, next week I have off before my other classes start. So, I will be catching up then. Lindy bought a lot of clothes at Target. That is my mom's favorite place to shop. I have noticed that Target has tried to mold themselves into an upscale, IKEA like experience. An example of this is their contracting Peter Max to create a cards and knick knacks line. I guess Target is like my Old Navy addiction for my mom. Right now my sister is wrapping my presents. She has taken over my room and I am having to sleep in the guest room. (You'd think she would be more flexible for my birthday, but no!) In the background you can see a lissa original, a photo collage called "a houston drive." similar things even over and over again.
